Thirteen of our Contract Managers have successfully passed the IOSH ‘Managing Safely’ course that was self-delivered by our in-house accredited trainer and QSHE Manager, Matt Simpson. The successful completion of the training means that as individuals they have developed a higher level of knowledge and skill in health and safety to apply to their role. This will positively contribute to our effective management of risk and promotion of operating in ‘The safest way’.
The importance of setting up appropriate exclusion zones was brought into sharp focus for the Cleaning division during February 2019 when two separate incidents were reported of falling objects/material damage whilst working at height. The consequences of these two instances could have been very severe had the teams not had robust exclusion zones in place – well done to all involved for ensuring we were undertaking our works in ‘The safest way’.
