It’s the fifth and final week in the NSS Group Autumn Property Preparations series and in this post we’re looking at the steps you should be taking to prepare your building’s electrics for the changing season…
Week five – electrics
As the days get shorter and dark nights close in, now is the perfect time to ensure all your external lights are secure and operating efficiently. An annual health check can reduce the risk of accidents.
Don’t forget about your car park lights too – especially if they’re in a remote area where lighting is required for safety reasons.
You might also want to consider is an inspection of your building’s back up power sources. The UK weather is often responsible for power cuts throughout the winter months so an early inspection is sensible. We recommend frequent assessments throughout the year to best equip your building in the event of a power outage.
