Of course, we want to help you choose the correct machine but we also want to enable you to perform required works in the most efficient manner possible.

Our hiring process

This is how our hire process runs smoothly from enquiry to completion.

Depending on the type of installation and site conditions, we’ll either use rope access, our own truck-mounted access platforms or temporary cradle systems. To help avoid disrupting your day-to-day operations, we can even fit banners at night.

Making an enquiry

Call our helpful team on 03459 677 477 to discuss your hire requirement. Whether you’re a dab-hand or first-time hirer, we’re here to help and make your life easier. We’ll ask all the right questions and be able to provide some initial advice on-the-spot but will usually recommend and arrange a full site-survey for you.

Free site survey

Our hire expert will initially assess the site via Google Earth so he/she can turn up fully informed but it’s in person and physically assessing a site where NSS adds the most value – particularly with challenging access requirements. We’ll take necessary measurements, investigate any potential hazards and fully risk assess the potential project.

Quotation

We’ll then confirm the most appropriate machine for your requirement, a recommended approach (including guidance on set-up location) as well as any other specialist equipment that might be necessary to help you complete your works safely and efficiently. Our quotation will remain valid for 90 days.

Booking

If you’re happy with the quotation – our rates are competitive – then we’ll get you booked onto our system and arrange a trade credit account subject to our terms and conditions. You then have full peace of mind that your project will start when you want it to, with your machine in the right place at precisely the right time.

Personal service

Our skilled access operator will personally contact you ahead of your hire day to introduce him/herself and set your mind at ease that you’re in capable hands. It’s the perfect opportunity for any last minute refinements but more often than not, it’s reassurance that NSS has got you covered.

We’re so confident in our expert hire approach that we include a full satisfaction guarantee. If we don’t turn up when we say we will or the machine doesn’t do what it needs to (as per our survey) you’ll pay nothing!
