2. What does an Operations Manager do?
Like most people within the NSS Group I do whatever is required to try and make my part of the business successful. Most of my work involves communicating with colleagues, customers and suppliers to ensure that we provide the best possible service. The Operations Manager also needs to ensure that we are doing the job effectively, efficiently and profitably.
3. Tell us what you most enjoy about the role
I get to play with big boys toys – what’s not to like! The fact that every day will be different. The people I deal with on a day to day basis make the job worth doing.
4. What has been your highlight since joining the company?
Getting to go to Finland and see how our supplier Bronto Skylift put their machines together was very interesting. Taking a dip in a freezing lake after a scorching sauna was amazing.
5. If you were to appear on Mastermind, what would your specialist subject be?
Preferably something I might know the answer to? Sadly I know too little about too many topics.
