Here we’re talking to NSS Hire Control Manager, Laura Robertson, asking her the key questions in a bid to get to know her better.
1. How would you describe yourself?
Ambitious, dependable, hardworking, honest (maybe sometimes a little too honest) and meticulous. My managers and hire colleagues can vouch for this!
2. What does an Hire Control Manager do?
Everything!… I ensure that the NSS Hire desk is running effectively and efficiently. I liaise closely with my managers and the other NSS divisions to ensure we are offering our clients the best and most streamlined service we can give.
3. Tell us what you most enjoy about the role.
Definitely my working relationships that I have built with my NSS colleagues, our clients and our suppliers. Not every day is the same on the hire desk. I am also heavily involved in the planning of our Event/Film work which I find very interesting.
4. What has been your highlight since joining the company?
I have only been with the business for close to 2 years but I have so many already. The ones that stand out are gaining my promotion last year to Hire Control Manager and also being chosen to be part of our Culture Team.
5. If you were to appear on Mastermind, what would your specialist subject be?
True Crime… I love a Netflix binge on the latest crime documentaries and series.
