The Challenge
Our client’s building was showing its age with the ripples along the asphalt substrate now starting to crack allowing rainwater to penetrate and cause internal ingress.

The Solution
NSS jet washed the roof substrate clean, removing all dirt and grime from the asphalt substrate.
Once dried the NSS team encapsulated the substrate with Carrier membrane primer and then proceeded to apply a VCL carrier membrane to the roof substrate and box gutter.
Tapered insulation board applied to the roof area with the necessary fall to stop potential ponding of rainwater with the operatives coating in primer and further Carrier membrane.
To complete the refurbishment the operatives encapsulated the roof substrate/upstands with a Liquasil liquid coating embedded with reinforced matting to provide a durable watertight solution.
Our team were able to show their expertise in coating application using Liquasil liquid coatings, meeting our goal of providing a ‘Dependable Service’ whilst delivering a quality job in the heart of storm season. NSS completed all works ahead of schedule.
