Continuously improving the safest way

At NSS, our values don’t just sit in a dusty employee handbook read on day one then never looked at again. We live and breathe these values in everything we do.

That’s why our latest employee initiative encompasses two of these values: ‘continuous improvement’ and ‘the safest way’.

Led by our health and safety manager, David Holden, we have been proud to launch our innovative e-learning system for our operatives in conjunction with Human Focus and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The new system allows us to effectively programme training so that we maintain the highest standard across all of our services as we grow. The investment allows our team to access hundreds of courses via their mobile devices including their tablet and phones.

David explained: “We are always looking to evolve what we do at NSS and are incredibly proud to lead the way when it comes to setting industry best practice. Safety is the top priority whenever we approach a job and ensuring our team remain trained to the highest standard is crucial to this. Investment of this nature is at the heart of everything we do.”

This initiative forms part of our ongoing investment in our team which saw us gain our Investors in People accreditation last year.

High Access is now part of NSS, providing building maintenance, window and technical cleaning, platform hire and equipment testing for an altogether better service.
