It’s the second week in the NSS Group Autumn Property Preparations series and in this post we’re looking at the steps you should be taking to prepare your building’s roof for the changing season…

Week two – roofs

Last year we saw Storms Ophelia, Brian and Fionn batter buildings up and down the country. We were kept busy responding to numerous callouts where heavy storms and strong winds had caused damage and dislodged weak and vulnerable roof slates and tiles.

As we head towards winter once again, it is important to make sure loose tiles are repaired or replaced. Now is the time to inspect your building. Our expert team can help identify weaknesses and provide an efficient solution before costly and disruptive damage occurs.

Should you identify a leak, fear not; we will repair the leak and any damage caused, finishing off with a protective and preventative coating layer. This is exactly what we did for one client who experienced leaks on a number of failed joints.
